Published the press release of 30/08/2022 by INAIL on the situation of the first seven months in the field of accidents. The reference period runs from January to July and the data show an increase of 41.1% in accident reports compared to the period of the previous year and an increase of 6.8% in reports of occupational disease.
The data represented refer to the entire national territory, but an increase is evident in all areas.

The regions with the highest number of complaints are:
Campania | +105,5% |

The analysis by sector shows a general increase in complaints, in particularthe Health and Social Care sector (+143.4%), Transport and Storage (+137.1%) and Catering Services (+85.2%).
Complaints of Occupational Disease
Data also emerge for occupational diseases that worsen the overall picture. In fact, compared to 2021, the current year has an increase of +6.8 %.
The data divided by areas show a fair increase throughout the territory.

The pathologies of the osteo-muscular system and connective tissue, those of the nervous system and the ear continue to represent, even in the first seven months of 2022, the first three reported occupational diseases, followed by tumors and diseases of the respiratory system.
Reports of fatal accidents at work for the period January July 2022 decreased by 16 %
